How to Migrate from HubSpot to KB5CRM in Under 10 Minutes

What You'll Migrate

• Contacts (name, email, phone, company, notes)
• Companies / accounts
• Deals and pipeline stages
• Activity history (as notes — HubSpot doesn't allow full activity export)

Step 1: Export from HubSpot

1. In HubSpot, go to Contacts → Actions → Export
2. Select all properties you want to keep and click Export
3. HubSpot will email you a download link within a few minutes
4. Repeat for Companies and Deals under their respective menus

You'll have three CSV files: contacts, companies, and deals.

Step 2: Import into KB5CRM

1. In KB5CRM, go to Settings → Import Data
2. Select HubSpot as the source (pre-maps HubSpot column names automatically)
3. Upload your contacts CSV and click Preview Import
4. Review the field mapping — KB5CRM auto-maps standard HubSpot columns
5. Click Import — contacts appear immediately
6. Repeat for companies, then deals

What Gets Mapped Automatically

What Doesn't Transfer

HubSpot's activity logs (email open tracking, call recordings, meeting notes from HubSpot meetings) are not exportable by HubSpot and cannot be migrated to any CRM. Going forward, KB5CRM logs all activity natively.

Cancel HubSpot After Migration

HubSpot bills on a monthly or annual cycle. If you're on annual, cancel before your renewal date — HubSpot doesn't prorate annual plans. Monthly customers can cancel anytime from Settings → Account → Cancel Subscription.
